Foxford RiverFest 2017 will run from Friday 18th August to Sunday 20th August in Foxford. It is a celebration of the river and its beautiful valley.

This family friend event is fully packed with activities and entertainments on and around the River Moy including angling demonstrations and competitions, kayaking, Stand Up Paddling and rowing.

On Friday night the ceremony “Candles to the Sea” will open the festival. The event will come alive with the spectacular Fireworks and the Drumming Parade. Local and national musicians will perform live music in many local pubs.

Also visitors will enjoy cookery demonstrations, traditional arts and crafts demonstrations, food stalls, pollinator walks and busking competitions.

Children will enjoy seed-bombing, face-painting, Lego Bricks Club and the special Kids Zone
