The 2017 Frosty Salmon Festival will take place in Ballina from Sunday 3rd December to Sunday 17th December and will offer a variety of merry family events.
On Sunday 3rd December Santa will arrive at the Jackie Clarke Collection around 2 pm. Mrs Claus will be there too, waiting for him. She will read stories to the little ones in a wonderful seasonal atmosphere.
The Moffatt School of Dance will perform throughout the afternoon; there will be Christmas music, songs and carols.
Later Santa will meet the children and parade through Ballina to Santa's Grotto in the Military Quarter, where he will wait for the children along December.
On this day there will also be the Christmas Treasure Hunt of Ballina which cater for children, young and old people.
The Jackie Clarke Collection is also hosting a Christmas letter to Santa competition. The children will have to drop their letters into the Jackie Clarke’s special post-box. The winner will take part in the exclusive sleigh ride with Santa in Ballina and will receive a wonderful gift set from Toy Master, Ballina.
A European Style Mistletoe Market will take place in the Military Quarter on Saturday 9th December. Beautifully decorated stalls will showcase all their best local traditional crafts and artisan foods. It will be a feast for the senses!
