Approx 2km from the 1000 hectares Carramore Lake, Bangor is an angler's paradise and an excellent base for wild atlantic salmon and sea trout fishing. Regarded as the gateway to the magnificent Erris Peninsula in North Mayo, Bangor Erris links Belmullet with Ballina and Westport.
