Nambrackagh Lake, within walking distance of the town is kept well stocked with brown trout and shore and boat fishing are available.
The Kilkelly Cycling Club is willing to take tourists who are wishing to get to know the area better by bicycle. This offer is free; the club meets on Sundays at 11.00am in Kilkelly Square. It is important that in the interest of safety, that all under 18 riders must wear helmets.
