Visitors' Guide of Partry in Co. Mayo

The village of Partry is nestled between the two Mayo lakes, Lough Carra and Lough Mask. Both lakes are popular with local anglers and also attract a high number of tourists who come to enjoy the quality fishing and the stunning views.

There are also a number of historical buildings in this area of South Mayo, which are worth a visit, as they date back hundreds of years.

Moorehall is situated on Muckloon Hill, which overlooks Lough Carra was home to George Moore in the late 18th century. Other buildings of interest include, Castle Carra and Burriscarra Abbey.
