family ties
I have just found in a book by a Fr. Noone,"Where the sun Sets", mention of a relative on my grandmother's side of the family-Bishop Hugh Conway of Killala (1872-1892) It is stated that he was born in LogDuff More. A Mr. Martin Murray now occupies what used to be the Conway property. I would be very interested in making contact with him or with anyone knowing anything about the family and hopefully finding living members. My grandmother ,Bridget Gallagher Davoren actually lived in the Parish House of the Bishop's brother, Fr. Micahel A. Conway in Killala where he Baptized her in 1865. I have more deatils if anyone is interested. I really apprecaitae this opportunity to chat with someone.
