Michael Byrne 1848-1915
My Great Grandfather was Michael Byrne who was born in Wingfield/Drum Knock in 1848. He married Bridgette Cunnane and lived in Wingfield all his life until he died in 1915.The house was taken over by my Grandmother Bridgette Byrne who married Patrick Dolan from Lakehill. I have a lot of information about the Byrnes of Knock but I don,t know which of the families Michael belonged to. His Parents were Dominick and Margaret and he had a brother called Bryan.I know there were, and still are, a lot of Byrnes around the Knock area,can anyone help.
