A request to the Swinford residents....
I am in search of the Sullivan family of St. Louis MO, USA, any of your readers may have a contact address. Mary Blanche Sullivan, on the Swinford Discussion Board, Aug 15,2004, looked for information her family connections,the Lydon family members who emigrated to USA. Mary is the grand daughter of Joseph P. Lydon,born in Swinford in 1878, Olympic medal holder in the 1904 St. Louis Games, the first Irish born to win Olympic medals in Boxing and Soccer and the only Irish man to hold medals in 2 Olympic sports.
