Offer of help with Conway research in Ballycroy Parish
My father's grandmother was Bridget McAndrew - she is buried in Kiltane, County Mayo. I have been trying to do research on my McAndrew line but I can only identify Bridget McAndrew's father as John. My father has told me that Bridget McAndrew's sister - Catherine "Catie" McAndrew - married his grandfather's brother. In other words, two McAndrew sisters married two Conway brothers from Ballycroy. My father said his great-grandfather (Michael Conway) had cattle and would have met John McAndrew at the Market. I am having trouble finding any information about John McAndrew. My father told me that his eldest son stayed in Kiltane and had two sons who played for Mayo's team that won the championship.
