James Moyles of Corravegguan,Ballina

Re your message on the notice board in 2005. I can confirm that James and Mary Moyles are also my grandparents. My name is Christine and I am the daughter of Tommy Moyles born 1897. James Moyles was born in the year 1853 and Mary Moyles around 1857 as taken from their ages 1901 census where they lived at 161 South Street, Ossett, Yorkshire. Granny Moyles died in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary October 15th 1924, her usual residence being 268 North, Lumphinnans. Only recently I have been in touch with the grand-daughter of Margaret Ellen Moyles, my grandfather's youngest daughter. Margaret married John Bremner and the grand-daughter Sandra is the daughter of their son James now aged 81 and living in Kelty Fife. I'm obliged to you for the information you gave in your Notice as both Sandra and myself were having great difficulty in ascertaining any information regarding my grandparents life in County Mayo. If you have any more information as to where we can obtain records of their births and marriage please do not hesitate to get in touch and if I can be of any help in furnishing you with information regarding the Fife side of the family where the majority ended their days, then please feel free to contact me. My email address is [removed] I have passed a copy of your notice to Sandra and it may well be that she too may contact you direct. Kind regards Christine Blyth (nee Moyles)
