The A team won the Cup having won all their matches on the day. The B team got to the semi final of the Shield being narrowly defeated in that game.Representing the A team were Cian Ferriter, Cathal Slattery, Nathan Moran, Eoin Duggan, Tiernan Harris, Joseph McDonagh, Conor McHugh, Amy Howard, Nicky Kelly and Caoimhe McDonnell.B team: Sean Hession, Conor Brennan, Cathal Heneghan, David Hession, Patrick Morris.The A team beat Ballyheane 6 2, Kilmurray 4 0, and Snugboro 4 2 to get through to the semi final. This was a hard fought battle against Kiltimagh Knock - the game went to extra time and Ballyglass came out victorious 2 1. The final against neighbours Manulla saw Ballyglass winning the cup 5 2.Well done to all the boys and girls and to their Managers Philip Howard and Paddy Malone, and to their ever efficient assistant Margaret Geraghty.GOOD LUCKGood Luck to Ballyglass Community Childcare staff and children as they start the new school year in their beautiful new building.Congrats to all involved in getting the project to this stage.GRAINNE MHAOLA group from Ballyglass Community Council traveled to the Castlecourt Hotel, Westport, for the final night of the Legend of Grainne Mhaol.
