Hi everyone, My name is Jo O'Hara Christon. I've been researching the history of my family for many years. I've recently discovered that great grandfather, James O'Hara possibly came from Clunker in Co Mayo, parish of Ardagh. Are you anywhere near such a place. I've had absolutely no luck find Clunker on a map...especially not in parish Ardagh. James might have had brothers names Edward, Martin and Anthony. James married a Bridget O'Connor who was from Co. Sligo. Does this family sound like any one you know? Or can you help me locate a town, village or maybe a farm called Clunker? James would have left Ireland about l840. Any help you can give me is surely appreciated. Thanks so much, Jo
