My G,G, grandfather, Michael Lynskey was born in Hollymount in 1837. He left for New Zealand in 1861. I've visited Hollymount twice with the last visit being June this year. The improvements in the town are very impressive with new street lights, paving, fresh paint etc. We had a guiness at the hotel at the end of the street next to the sports ground. If anyone from Hollymount reads this I would appreciate a response as I would like some contact with the town. Slainte, John.
