Looking for Horkan and Bones Family
My great-grandfather Thomas Horkan was born in the Kilkelly area about 1871. His father, also Thomas Horkan, was deceased by 1896. My great-grandfather married Mary Anne Bones, also from the Kilkelly area. Her father was John Bones and her mother's name may have been Mariah Kennedy. I believe Great Grandad Thomas had a brother John Horkan, and two of Mary Anne's sisters were Bridget Bones and Agnes Bones. Thomas and Mary Anne emigrated first to Batley, England, and then to the U.S. about 1908. This is all the info I have on their background. Any info on ancestors in Ireland would be much appreciated.
