The Traditional New Year’s Day Swim will take place on Monday, 1st January 2024, on Achill Island.

All participants will gather at Silver Strand Beach in Dugort at 1 pm and jump into the crystal Atlantic waters, starting the New Year with an exciting experience.

A warm-up will be available to participants, and Achill Order of Malta Ambulance will be there.

After the swim, hot soup and hot chocolate will be offered on the beach.

The event supports Lifeboat Achill.
