Ballina Salmon Festival takes place from Wednesday 8th July to Sunday 12th July.

This popular and family friendly event includes the Heritage Day, where visitors can see craftspeople display their trades of tinsmiths, thatching, butter making, woodturning and blacksmithing.

There will be also daily programmes of activities and workshops for children, delicious food stalls and traditional music throughout the festival.

On Saturday at 11 pm in Cathedral Road, overlooking the River Moy , Ballina offers the best Fireworks Display in the West of Ireland.
