The traditional Belmullet Festival will take place from Saturday, 8th August to Monday, 17th August 2026, bringing ten days of entertainment, culture, and community spirit to the town.

The festival programme is packed with exciting events for all ages, including heritage celebrations, live music, street parties, sporting events, fun runs, and a spectacular fireworks display.

On Tuesday, 11th August, Heritage Day  promises a celebration of local history and culture, featuring historical displays, live performances, delicious food, arts and crafts, and plenty of family-friendly activities.

On Thursday, 13th August, participants can put their skills to the test in the popular Car Treasure Hunt..

On Friday, 14th August, enjoy the creative Kite Making  event before cheering on competitors in the exciting  Raft Race.

On Saturday, 15th August, , the traditional Fair "Lá an Logha"will fill the town with market stalls, local traders, and live music, creating a lively festival atmosphere.

On Sunday, 16th August, the festivities will culminate in a fantastic Street Party  followed by a spectacular Fireworks Display to round off the evening.

The festival will conclude on Monday, 17th August, with the ever-popular Erris United Duck Race, providing a fun and memorable finale to this year's celebrations.
