The 2023 Black Pig Festival will run from Thursday, 27th July to Monday, 31st July, in Enniscrone, Co. Sligo, for many years, the seaside resort for much of North Mayo.

This popular and family-friendly event caters for all ages, young and old.

Over the long week-end, the festival includes exciting events such as live music in the Beach Music Marquee, beach yoga, scenic and heritage walks, dance, golf and much more.

Kids will be ecstatic about the exciting events arranged exclusively for them, including Children’s Triathlon (swim, run, cycle), Fun Sports Day Event, sandcastles competition, Piggy Picnic Day and Archaeological Beach Dig.

For 2023 main events will be the famous Pig on the Spit, the Duck Race and the Precious Pets, Mobile Animal Farm in the Hollow.

Sure enough, there will be the beloved and spectacular Fireworks Display on Saturday night.

The traditional Black Pig 5km Fun and 10km Race will take place on Monday, 31st July.
