The National Museum of Country Life is hosting two Christmas events for 2019.

Meet the Crafters

The talented members of the Connacht Textile Crafters will hold a Christmas workshop on Saturday 30th November from 11.30 am to 3 pm.

Participants will pick up some ideas and tips to make their own Christmas decorations and gifts learning traditional and contemporary crafting techniques.

A Crafty Little Christmas

A Crafty Little Christmas will take place on Saturday 14th December and Sunday 15th December during opening hours.

Participants will craft their own Christmas decorations to bring home, decorate the museum’s Christmas Tree, take on a festive challenge in the galleries and watch a seasonal classic in the Museum's AV Theatre.

Also, in the café they will enjoy cookie decorating and hot chocalates.

Some of Mayo's leading choirs will perform in the exhibition galleries throughout the week-end.
