Claremorris Drama Festival 2026

The 2026 Claremorris Drama will take place from Tuesday 12th March o Saturday 21st March in the Town Hall Theatre Claremorris at 8.00 pm sharp.
This year the adjudicator will be Aodh McCay. He is a member of the Association of Drama Adjudicators with a Master’s degree in Drama and Media Studies and has his own practical experience as an award-winning director, actor, and lighting designer.
The official opening night will feature Seamus O’Rourke in “The Love Hungry Farmer” by John B Keane.
The 2026 schedule includes:
- Friday 13th March, An Enemy of the People by Henrick Ibsen, D.A.D.S Dunmore
- Saturday 14th March, Philadelphia Here I Come by Brian Friel, Dooega Drama Group
- Sunday 15th March, The Outgoing Tide by Bruce Graham, Sliabh Aughty
- Monday 16th March, Sive by John B Keane, Dalkey Players
- Tuesday 17th March, WIT by Margaret Edson, Corofin Dramatic Society
- Wednesday 18th March, The Salvage Shop by Jim Nolan, Nenagh Players
- Thursday 19th March, The Year of the Hiker by John B Keane, Upstage Players
- Friday 20th March, Greta Garbo Came to Donegal by Frank McGuinness, Clann Machua Drama
- Saturday 21st March, Da by Hugh Leonard, Bunclody/Kilmyshall Drama Group
The Presentation of Prizes will take place on Saturday night 21st March.
