Wild Nephin Ballycroy National Park is hosting its first event for the new season taking part in “The Clean Coasts Roadshow”.

The Clean Coasts Roadshow is a series of talks and workshops taking place all along the coast of Ireland in the aim to help people to better understand their local beaches, seas and marine life.

The event will take place on Saturday 23rd March at 11 am at Claggan Mountain Coastal Trail.

The 2 km walk will be led by the National Guides who will call the participants’ attention on the wildlife and landscapes of the area.

Following the walk, there will be the Seaweed Pressing Workshop by Olivia Jones at the National Park Visitor Centre. She will give an introduction to the common Irish seaweeds and explain how to preserve them.
