Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail Walking Festival
The 2023 Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail Walking Festival will take place on Saturday, 22nd April.
The festival is one day walk from Aghagower to Murrisk, covering the 20 km long final section of the Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail.
The Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail is an accredited National Way Marked Way and one of the country's most beautiful trails to walk.
The Trail passes through boreens, minor roads, small sections of woodland, historic houses and archaeological remains, reaching the final destination in Murrisk and Clew Bay.
The meeting point will be in Murrisk at the Croagh Patrick’s car park at 8.15 am.
From there, transport will be provided to the starting point at Aghagower Community Centre; the walk will commence at 9.30 am after registration.
Along the way, refreshments will be on offer at Brackloon National School.
This year the festival is in aid of Croí Heart and Stroke.
