The 2021 Frosty Salmon Festival will take place in Ballina from Friday 10th December to Sunday 12th December and will offer some merry family events.

An European Style Mistletoe Market will take place in the Military Quarter where the decorated stalls will showcase all their best local traditional crafts and artisan foods. It will be a feast for the senses!

The Ballina Polar Express, the special Santa express, will depart from Ballina Train Station with four magical journeys on Saturday 27th November, 4th, 11th and 18th December.

Presented by Fifth Mayo Scout Group, the train departs at 11.20am sharp, with Santa, Mrs Clause and the elves on board. It will travel to Manulla Junction then return for 1pm. There will be a goodie bag for every child.

Covid certificates and masks will be required for adults and children over 12.
