Halloween at the Museum

October-November 2019
The National Museum of Country Life is hosting some events for Halloween.
Special "Spooky Tours” will take place in the museum’s exhibition galleries where participants will hear about changelings, fairies, banshees and bogeymen on Tuesday 29th October, Thursday 31st October and Saturday 2nd November from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
"Batty about Bats” is a junior workshop about bats. The young participants will learn how bats hunt, what they eat and why some of the scary stories about them are nothing more than myths. The event will take place on Wednesday 30th October at 11.30am and 2pm.
"Spooky Tales of an Irish Hallowe'en” will take place on Friday 1st November at 10.00am, 11.30am and 2.00pm. Master storyteller Rab S. Fulton will tell spooky stories about devil, fairies and more.
