The Mayo Manchester Tradfest is running from Thursday 1st August to Wednesday 7th August 2019 for the seventh time.

The festival is one of Ireland’s biggest Traditional Irish Music, Song and Dance Festival.

Many Mayo’s towns will be hosting performances including Achill Island, Ashford Castle and Cong, Attymass, Ballina, Bonniconlon, Castlebar, Claremorris and Westport.

More than 500 performers will take part in the events including:

• from Manchester Fianna Phadraig Pipe Band, Joe Keegan, John Gibson and Fidelma O’Brien;

• from Mayo The Ganley Sisters, Foxford Brass Band, Ballina’s Centre Stage Vocal Academy, Shauna O’Boyle, Dennis McCalmont, Turley Duggan School and Sina Theil.

The annual 7th Mayo Manchester Tradfest Gala Concert will take place on 3rd August at  Ballina Arts Centre.
