May 2020 POSTPONED

The 2020 Mulranny Stone Wall Festival is running from Friday 8th May to Sunday 10th May in Mulranny.

The stone walls are constructed from stones without any mortar to bind them together and their existence is both simple and practical. They are peculiar to the Irish landscape.

The programm includes talks, demonstrations and dry stone wall building along the Great Western Greenway.

Participants will learn the traditional skill of dry stone wall building from master stonemasons Eddie Farrelly and Dominic Keogh.

This year there will be an exciting new event “The Mulranny Stone Wall Festival Mosaic Workshop”.

Also, children will be busy with the Children’s Stone Totem Building Competition at Mulranny Beach.
