For the second time the vibrant town of Ballina will host “Other Voices”, the internationally acclaimed music television series and arts festival.

The event will run from Friday 28th to Saturday 29th February 2020.

Other Voices is a rich and diverse musical journey from Dingle to Derry, New York to Belfast, Texas to London, Berlin and beyond in the last 17 years.

It will be a full immersion weekend of song, story, conversation, debate, live music, creative partnerships and various discussions with artists and speakers from across the world.

The kick off of the event will be in St. Michael’s Church with the St. Michael’s Church TV recording performances. Elbow, Skinny Living, Denise Chaila  and Jesca Hoop will perform on the night.

The Other Voices Music Trail will be held across bars, pubs and clubs throughout the town. 

Join Me In The Pines, Joel Harkin, David Lyttle, Joseph Leighton, Runabay, Anna Mullarkey, Elkin, Shookrah, Junk Drawer, Lydia Ford, Nnic, Sprints, Ports, Murli, Squarehead and The Mary Wallopers will be the artists taking part in this event.

Also, on Saturday 29th, the event “Ireland’s Edge” will be back to the Jackie Clarke Museum in Ballina. All together activists, entrepreneurs, innovators, thinkers, writers and artists will gather and consider some of the existential questions facing Ireland in this time of mass disruption, innovation and change.
