“The Passion Play” or “The Triumph of Easter” will take place on the grounds of Ballintubber Abbey from Monday, 3rd April and to Wednesday, 5th April 2023, at 9 pm, each evening.

This moving drama, played for over 35 years, is usually performed during Holy Week and involves over 90 people from the parish, including men, women and children.

This one-hour-long event attracts a large audience each year from all over Ireland. A sheltered stand with seating will accommodate the audience.
