RoolaBoola Children's Arts Festival

October - November 2019
RoolaBoola is one of the leading children’s arts festivals in Ireland. This amusing event takes place annually in Castlebar at the Linehall Arts Centre and other venues in town.
The 2019 event runs over the bank holiday weekend at the end of October.
The celebrations include a selection of the highest calibre national and international children's theatre, music and dance shows as well as other arts events, including children’s book readings, exhibitions, street performances and a multitude of hands-on arts workshops for children aged 2 to 14 years and their families.

This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing, by written by Finegan Kruckemeyer and directed by Niall Cleary with Grafitti Theatre Company, Schools Show

Rockin' Rhymes, by Branar Téatar do Pháistí

Rhythms of the World, Workshop for family groups with children aged 4-12 years and adults of any age, with percussionist Anthony McNamee.

Paper Folging Day, Workshop for Children aged 6yrs+, with artist Vanya Lambrecht Ward.
- Inni-K, with Inni-K and her band, for school only.
Also, this year, Roola Boola Festival will host a special event for Christmas at the end of November:
- Clayroots Christmas Ceramics Workshop for 5-7yrs and for 8-12yrs with artist Amanda Hickey.
