Experience the rich culture of Ireland at a series of free events to celebrate St Patrick.
Come to the place of ancient history, where Patrick’s sacred mountain lies and celebrate our Patron Saint.
Castlebar
The 2020 St Patrick’s Day will take place on Tuesday 17th March starting at MacHale Road.
The parade will start at 2 pm and take the usual route along Station Road, Spencer Street, The Mall, Ellison Street, Market Square, Newtown, Chapel Street, Newline, New Antrim, Street, Linenhall Street with a reviewing stand at Main Street.
This year’s theme is: "Castlebar - An Enterprising Town, Whose Star Is Rising”.
The 2020 Grand Marshal will be the local retired businessman Sean Horkan.
Crossmolina
Crossmolina will celebrate St Patrick’s Day with the spectacular Festival of Lights and the Electric Light Parade from Friday 13th March to Tuesday 17th March 2020. The parade will take place on Monday 16th March at 8.00 pm.
Floats, cars, tractors, trucks, buses, marching bands and children from the local schools will parade altogether along the main streets decorated in a selection of lights and effects for the event.
Also, there will be a ‘Best Window Display Competition’ to signify St. Patrick’s Day involving all businesses.
Kiltimagh
The 2020 St Patrick"s Day Parade will take place on Tuesday 17th March at 3.00 pm.
This year’s theme is “The Last Decade”.
The Oldham Pipe Band will be back in Kiltimagh and perform on Sunday 15th March.

Charlestown: Tuesday 17th March at 1 pm assembling at National School car park at 12 noon.

Balla: Tuesday 17th March 2020 at noon.

Kilkelly: Tuesday 17th March 2020 at 5.30 pm; at the end of the parade there will be a fireworks display.
- Cong: 17th March 2020 at 12.30 pm; participants are invited to come with their national flags to show everyone the numerous nationalities that live and work in Cong and are part of the community.
