The 2025 Battle for the Lake Festival returns from Friday, September 26th to Sunday, September 28th, on the breathtaking Achill Island, nestled between Keel Lake and Keel Beach.

Each year, during this wild and windy season, water sports enthusiasts from across Ireland and beyond gather for an unforgettable celebration. It's not just for thrill-seekers—beach lovers, music fans, and nature enthusiasts also flock to the island to soak up the vibrant atmosphere.

The festival features an exciting lineup of water-based activities, including kitesurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, windsurfing, surfing, and winging. Attendees can also look forward to the Wow Show, sea swimming, and yoga sessions. New additions for 2025 include beach volleyball and cycling.

Beyond the waves, festivalgoers can enjoy live music, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of family-friendly entertainment. Kids will have their own fun-filled space with games and a special disco just for them.
