The 2026 “Passion Play” or “The Triumph Of Easter” will take place on Monday 30th March, Tuesday 31st March and on Wednesday 1st April at 9 pm sharp each evening on the grounds of Ballintubber Abbey .

This powerful drama, played since 1982, is performed during Holy Week and involves over 90 people from the parish including men, women and children. This one hour long event attracts a large audience each year from all over Ireland.

A sheltered stand with seating will accommodate audience. Wear warm clothing is advised.
