The Westport Folk and Bluegrass Festival will take place from Friday 5th June to Sunday 7th June 2020 in the Town Hall Theatre and the amazing Holy Trinity Church, as well as in other charming venues including local pubs and restaurants.

The event will offer an impressive program . All the bluegrass and folk lovers will find good music in pubs, restaurants and streets all over the week-end.

Music will range from traditional bluegrass, old-timey to just plain old ‘folk’.

There will be many bands and artists from the US, Ireland, Germany, UK, Northen Ireland and Czech Republic including: The Kody Norris show (USA), Erynn Marshal & Carl Jones (USA), SLO County Stumblers (USA), YE Vagabonds (Ireland), CornMaiz String Band (USA), Johnny & The Yooahoos (Germany), Pet Yetti (UK), The Jumper Cables (Czech Republic), Lunch Special (UK), Dave Kline and The Mountain Folk Band (USA), No Oil Paintings (N. Ireland), Darragh O'Dea (Ireland) and The Rockytop String Band (Ireland, County Mayo).

Many workshops, masterclasses and informal sessions will be organised and people of the public are welcome to join in and play with the artists and groups.

Some local instrument makers will be showcasing their craft to boot.
