The 2025 Wild Atlantic Words Festival will take place from Monday 6th October to Sunday 12th October in Castlebar in the Festival Dome at Bridge Lane.

Created in 2016, the festival has become more and more popular and celebrates the literary heritage of the West of Ireland through readings, recitals, debates and reflection.

New and emerging writers will be introduced and acknowledged.

This year, features include:

Eimear McBride, Harrison Gardner, Lisa Clancy, Sean Lysaght, Brian Dornan, David McGowan, John Patrick McHugh, John Spillane, Sean Cadden, Sean Lyons, Richard Hogan and Conor Niland.
