The Connaght Spring Show will take place in Ballinrobe on Sunday 15th May 2016. This event is a wonderful occasion for a good family day out.

The festival offers many attractions to suit all visitors from Ponies, Pedigree & Commercial Sheep, Shearing, Goats, The Connacht Dog Show, Trade Stands, Craft Village and Cookery demonstrations, Best Dressed Man and Woman Competition, Irish Open Egg Throwing Championships, The Supermacs Teddy Bear Tea Party and The Connacht Tug Of War Championships.

Another important mention is the ‘Best of the West’ brown bread competition, a great opportunity for the home bakers to show off their talent and claim a prize. Our special guest this year will be chef Jonathan Keane from the Lodge at Ashford Castle.

Companies will promote their fare ranging from confectionary, baking, jams, chutneys and preserves, butchers, pies, pasties, sauces and tapenades, Irish cheeses, farmhouse fudge, eggs, honey, free range to local pork products.
