SEPTEMBER 2015

Culture Night 2015 will take place on Friday 18th September and hundreds of free events will be organised across Ireland. and Mayo alike.

The free events cater for all ages; planned activities include family workshops, films, tours, demonstrations, exhibitions, performances, outdoor poetry events, craft displays, music seisiúns and much, much more.

The event provides cultural organisations with an occasion to showcase to local communities and visitors, the wealth and variety of cultural activity that exists in Mayo, while also celebrating the county’s excellent cultural reputation on a national platform.

The night has been extremely well received by Mayo audiences, last year almost 3000 people came out to celebrate the night. Regardless of where you are in the county there will be a Culture Night event taking place nearby with events planned for Acaill, Ballina, Ballinrobe, Ballintubber, Ballycastle, Ballycroy, Béal an Mhuirthead, Ceathrú Thaidhg, Castlebar, Charlestown, Claremorris, Kilkelly, Knock, Laherdane, Lecanvey, Mulranny, Swinford, Tuar Mhic Éadaigh, Turlough & Westport.

Culture Night Mayo will have something for everyone and enjoy a free night of culture.
