This Traditional Culture Festival or Seachtain na Gaeilge Oifigiúil will take place from Sunday 1st to Tuesday 17th March 2016 in various venues in County Mayo. It is an annual international Irish language festival, and one of the biggest celebrations of Mayo’s native language and culture.

The festival gives an opportunity to visitors to enjoy Irish with a calendar of entertaining and fun events for every type of interest and every age group. Voluntary and community groups, local authorities, schools, libraries, and music, sports, arts and culture organisations all hold events in their local area.
