Kilfian GAA Club, Crossmolina in Co. Mayo

Kilfian GAA Club is a small parish club in North Mayo, where approximately 120 dwellings make-up the parish. After a lapse of several years, Kilfian GAA Club was reformed in 1978. In 1985 a new pitch was acquired and developed at Ratheskin, and the new Clubhouse was completed in 1998.

Kilfian GAA Clubhouse and grounds are community owned. The Aidan McDonnell Memorial Park was officially opened on May 31st 2009 by Dr Mick Loftus, former President of the GAA.

The club willingly shares their facilities with other Parish groups e.g. Kilfian Development Association, Senior Citizens Committee, Girl Guides, Vintage Machinery Club and Parish/Club Socials. Classes in Music & Drama, Pilates & Set-dancing take place there. It is fair to say most parish activity takes place there as it is the only meeting place in the area.

On the playing field, the club has enjoyed its share of success, especially at underage level. In 2003 the Junior team made history when they were promoted to Intermediate level.

Kilfian Junior Team were winners of the North Mayo Junior B Championship 2004.

Kilfian GAA Club colours red and green.
