The Community Centre was built with money raised locally and grant aid from the state.

It contains a main hall, four meeting rooms upstairs, one meeting room downstairs, kitchen, showers and toilets. There is also a clinic, which was completely renovated in 2000/2001, attached to one end of the building.

Approximately 50 different clubs or groups use the Centre for various activities such as Basketball, Indoor Soccer, Badminton, Card Games, Bingo etc. It also hosts Summer Camps for school children and classes for foreign students during the Summer months.
