Many of Sligo’s towns and villages are located on the Wild Atlantic Way such as Easkey, Enniscrone, Rosses Point, Sligo Town, Drumcliffe and Strandhill.

Sligo Town

Colourful Sligo Town is the largest town in the northwest.


Enniscrone is one of Sligo’s oldest seaside resort towns on Killala Bay.


Easkey is a delightful unspoilt coastal village, which derives its name from the Gaelic word for fish ('iasc')

Rosses Point

Rosses Point is a very quaint seafaring village just 8km north from Sligo town.


Drumcliffe is a village nestled between Benbulben and Drumcliff bay on the Drumcliff River.


Strandhill is a beautiful coastal village situated at the western base of Knocknarea.


Tubbercurry is a market town at the foot of the Ox Mountains.
