Death

Sympathy is extended to Desmond Earley, Laragon on the death of his sister Eithne Earley, Dublin and late of Laragon, Ballycastle.

 

Painting with oils

The basics of painting with oils, with Nuala Clarke in Ballycastle Community Hall, Wednesdays  in FEBRUARY, 7-9pm. brush up on the basics, colour mixing, layering, composition and other fun, for anyone interested; adults and teenagers.  4 weeks: €50 (or drop - in €15 per class).  Basic materials available, bring whatever you have.

Ballycastle 10k & 6k road race, walk & fun run on Saturday 27th June 2015.

 

Basketball

Children's Basketball on Tuesdays at 5.30 – 6.30p.m. for 8 – 10yrs and from 6.30 – 7.30p.m. for ages 11 – 14.

Ladies basketball at 8.00p.m. on Tuesdays.

Men & Ladies basketball on Thursdays at 8.00p.m.

 

Athletic Club

Ballycastle A.C. Operation Transformation 5k walk and run Saturday mornings at 10am to February 14th from Ballycastle Community Hall, contact Mike 087 9145551.

Juvenile training every Friday in the Hall at 7pm.  

Art Group

Art Group meet in the Resource Centre on Mondays from 2.00 – 5.00p.m. New members welcome. Guidance available from our resident artist Sue Upton.  

O-55's Club

Over 55's exercise club meet in Suífinn Way Centre on Tuesdays at 11.30a.m.  

Book Club

Book Club meet the last Thursday of every month at 9.00p.m. Contact Mary at 086-8095536.

 

Craft Shop

Craft Shop is located in the Resource Centre, Upper Main Street stocking goods by local craftworkers e.g. knitwear, crochet, handmade cards, wooden bowls, cushions, cot quilts, etc.

Ballycastle souvenir items e.g. candles, fridge magnets, keyrings, bookmarks, biros, teabag holders, St. Brigid's crosses, Mayo Crystal and a range of other items.   Other Facilities available : Tourist Information, Photocopying, Laminating, Typing.   Opening Hours: Monday – Friday 10.00a.m. – 5.00p.m. (closed for lunch 1 – 2.00p.m.)

Community Hall

Monday : Bingo at 8.30p.m.

Tuesday: Basketball 5.30p.m. – 6.30p.m. for children aged 8 – 10years and from 6.30 – 7.30p.m. for ages 12 – 14years.

Friday: Athletic Club: Training for young athletes from 7.00p.m. – 8.00p.m
