Annual Christmas Craft Fair will take place in Ballycastle on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November.

Art Workshops

Art Workshops for teenagers and adults in October: drawing on Wednesdays, October 8th - 29th 7-9pm. in Ballycastle Community Hall led by Nuala Clarke.

There will be a special focus on developing the skills to be well prepared for the Junior cycle and Leaving cert exams.

Food Market

The Dev. Co. is providing the Shambles Garden for locally produced food and handmade crafts on Fridays from 10.30a.m. – 3.30p.m. commencing on Friday 3rd October. Admission free, including stall holders.

Craft Shop

Craft Shop is located in the Resource Centre, Upper Main Street stocking goods by local craftworkers e.g. knitwear, crochet, handmade cards, candles, fridge magnets, wooden bowls, cushions etc.

Also, Paintings by local artists, Mayo Crystal and a range of other items.

Other Facilities available: Tourist Information, Photocopying, Laminating, Typing.

Opening Hours: Monday – Friday 10.00a.m. – 5.00p.m. (closed for lunch 1 – 2.00p.m.)

Community Hall

Monday: Bingo at 8.30p.m.

Friday: Athletic Club: Training for young athletes from 7.00p.m. – 8.00p.m.

Defibrillator

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) has now been located at the Community Hall, Ballycastle and will operate within a two mile radius of the Hall.

In the event of a person collapsing and becoming unresponsive please

  1. Call 999 (landline) or 112 (mobile)
  2. Call local Defibrillator Responder on A) 086-257-6771 or B) 086-257-6772
  3. Start CPR immediately while awaiting responder and emergency services.
