Over 55’s exercise club meet in Suífinn Way Centre on Tuesdays at 11.30a.m.

Occ. First Aid Autumn ‘14

Occ. First Aid Fetac Level 5, commencing from late August/early Sept 2014, also Paediatric First Aid Training. Manual Handling, CPR/AED Heartsaver - full and refresher training also available to interested persons/GAA Junior and Senior Clubs.

Craft Shop

Craft Shop is located in the Resource Centre, Upper Main Street stocking goods by local craftworkers e.g. knitwear, crochet, handmade cards, candles, fridge magnets, wooden bowls, cushions etc.

Also, Paintings by local artists, Mayo Crystal and a range of other items.

Other Facilities available: Tourist Information, Photocopying, Laminating, Typing.

Opening Hours: Monday – Friday 10.00a.m. – 5.00p.m. (closed for lunch 1 – 2.00p.m.)

Community Hall

Monday: Bingo at 9.00p.m.

Thursday: Basketball for girls & boys 8 – 10yrs from 5.30p.m. – 6.30p.m. and for girls & boys 10yrs and over from 6.30p.m. – 7.30p.m. €2 per child.

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) has now been located at the Community Hall, Ballycastle and will operate within a two mile radius of the Hall.

In the event of a person collapsing and becoming unresponsive please

  1. Call 999 (landline) or 112 (mobile)
  2. Call local Defibrillator Responder on A) 086-257-6771 or B) 086-257-6772
  3. Start CPR immediately while awaiting responder and emergency services.
