Thank you, Lord for Mothers. Give them strength and patience to cope with the many ups and downs of family life. Give us the grace today to be deeply thankful for the gift of a Mother. Lord, protect all mothers, may your blessing and light always guide them.
By all means, celebrate your mother on Mother’s Day, but maybe a rose in December or an impromptu cup of tea on a regular day will be a better way of showing a mother that she’s valued not just on Mother’s Day, but every day.
Happy Mother’s Day.

St. Patrick was born very probably in the earlier years of the fifth century in Britain. He was taken captive at the age of sixteen to Ireland. He escaped back home at the age of twenty-two. It was obvious to Patrick; God was calling him to return to convert the Irish. He returned to Ireland in 457-461. He died in 491. Patrick’s voice speaks in every generation with the invitation to share the Faith he brought by living lives of loving service.
A very Happy St Patrick’s Day to you.

The Programme called “Do this in Memory†encourages parents, families, Parish with teachers to become more actively involved in the Sacramental journey as the children prepare for First Holy Communion.
The Programme highlights the importance of the Sunday Mass.
It also acknowledges the ‘Home’ as the most important and significant place, where the faith of our children is nurtured, nourished and sustained.
A Special Mass will take place every month. I invite all the children of the schools, their parents and families with the First Holy Communion class, to our Special Masses.
Thank you to all who contributed to the Shrove Collection.
