Dedication of the Lateran Basilica. Thirty-Second Sunday of the Year.

The Church of St John on the Lateran in Rome is ‘Mother and Head of all The Churches of the City and the World’. It is the cathedral church of the Pope, and was called ‘St John’ after the two monasteries once attached, dedicated to St John the Divine and St John the Baptist. It is however dedicated to the Most Holy Saviour.

  • Sat 6.45pm – Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. 7.35pm –Rosary. All Welcome. Please come along and pray for the intentions of our Parish.

Monster Card Game - Ballycroy Hall, Fri 14th Nov, 8.30pm sharp, in aid of the Church Building Funds. Prize money,Raffle, Door prize & Refreshments. 1st Prize – €200 – sponsored by Paul McManamon. 2nd Prize €100 & 3rd Prize €50 - sponsored by Darragh & Roseanne Conway (Clearys). 4th Prize - €20. All Welcome.

November Masses for the Dead

November Masses for the Dead – November Lists for the Dead are available at all Church Doors. The lists of the dead will be placed in a Sacred Space in front of the altar. The Dead will be remembered and prayed for every day. Twenty Masses will be offered for the repose of their souls. Please return your lists before or on the 1st November. Our Day of Remembrance – A Special Mass will take place this Sunday in our Parish. The names of those who died during the year will be called out; a special remembrance candle will be presented to their loved ones. Immediately after mass rosary and prayers will be recited in Ballycroy Cemetery at 12noon, Claggan Cemetery at 12.30, Fahy Cemetery at 1pm.
