Church Building Fund

Congratulations & Best Wishes to Patrick Mc Manamon, Claggan & Jacinta Maloney who were married in Quilty, Co Clare recently.

Novena

A Novena in honour of Our Lady of Perpetual Help will take place in this Church for nine weeks.

The third night will be this Wednesday at 7.30pm. One night a week for nine weeks, please take note of day/time of Novena Mass, as they could vary due to Parish timetable. We pray for the sick, students preparing for exams & private intentions.

Trocaire

To date we have received €1000 for Trocaire. Sincere thanks to the 70 households for their generous contribution. I make a special plea to the other households of the Parish to make a contribution to Trocaire next weekend.

Last year the Parish of Ballycroy contributed over €1500 to the fund.

Please God we can do the same this year. Please return a contribution next weekend in an envelope marked Trocaire.

Collectors from the Group Water Scheme

Collectors from the Group Water Scheme will call to householders in the coming weeks whose accounts are in arrears - if outstanding bills are not settled; the board cannot guarantee the continuation of the supply of water to their home.

As a participant in the scheme, all members have a duty to pay their contribution in order to fund the upkeep of the scheme. We are grateful to those who have paid.

Eircode, the new postcode system for Ireland, will be launched in June 2015 making it quicker & easier for medical emergency services & others to locate addresses. 

Local organization’s & volunteers are reaching out to various groups including older people living alone, to create awareness of the Eircode benefits.

Clann Lir Festival

As part of The Clann Lir Festival the Shiela Moffat School of Irish Dance will dazzle with their performance adapted from the Clann Lir story, at the Broadhaven Bay Hotel, 12 noon this Sunday.

Admission is €10.

All monies raised on the day are being donated to a local charity.
