Afternoon of Prayer

Thanksgiving afternoon of prayer, under the auspices of the Medjugorje Council of Ireland. In honour of Our Lady, Queen of Peace.

Intention: That’s God’s plan for Medjugorje will be fulfilled.

In St John the Evangelist Church Tubbercurry, Co.Sligo on Sunday 8th February 2015 from 3pm to 5.30pm with Fr.Martin Jennings. 3.00pm - Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Followed by Holy Rosary. 3.45pm- Holy Mass. 4.45pm

Guest Speaker: Philip Ryan (well known and much loved guide in Medjugorje.

Books and literature will be availbale. All welcome

Silent Moves

A Silent Moves Exhibition including film will take place show in Ballina Art Centre from the 6th February to the 28th February. Silent Moves combines an exhibition with film and will be opened by Aideen Barry, Artist.

Public Screenings of the Film will take place throughout February.

Registration evening for all underage players this Sunday the 8th of February in The Community Centre from 7pm to 9pm.

Clothing Collection in aid of Fr. Nicholas Ngulutu, St. Josephs, Kavisuni, Diocese of Kitui, Kenya.

All types of clean, dry, ladies, gents and children’s clothing, bed linen, curtains, towels, bags, belts and paired shoes.

Collection on Tuesday 17th February before 12 noon at The Grove Hall, Bonniconlon

Knockmore Bingo

Bingo on Monday 9th February 2015 at 8.30pm in Knockmore Community Hall. €2,600 in prize money paid out on the night.

St.Valentine’s Tea Dance

The over 55 Club in Ballina, will have a St.Valentine’s Tea Dance in the Kennedy Glasgow Centre, Ballina on Thursday 12th of February from 3pm – 5pm.

Tickets are €6 and there is music by Padraig Moran, light refreshments and a raffle will be held during the event.
