VMM – Volunteer Missionary Movement:

On the weekend of March 14th & 15th we will welcome to Bonniconlon parish a member of the Volunteer Missionary Movement (VMM) who are visiting parishes throughput the Diocese of Achonry during 2015 for Mission Promotion and Appeal.

VMM is an international lay Catholic development organisation founded in 1969. VMM recruits, trains and supports skilled lay missionaries and volunteers with professional / technical expertise to work in areas of need in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

VMM’s overall purpose is to challenge, enable and support lay people to participate in the mission of promoting justice, respect and dignity for all.

Over the past year VMM has supported almost 50 lay missionaries working with 30 dioceses and other partners in 10 African countries on a variety of missionary and development programmes.

To help support the missionary work of VMM an exit door collection will take place at the parish masses over the weekend of March 14th & 15th.

25 Card Drive

Bonniconlon National School are running a 25 Card Drive in The River Inn on Thursday 12th March at 9pm sharp. Prize Fund €600.00 Raffle on the night.

G.A.A. Skills Camp

Skills Camp will take place in the club pitch from Monday 30th March to Thursday 2nd April (Easter Break).

From 10.00am – 12.30pm. €35 per child. Numbers limited, boys and girls 7-10 years.

Moy Valley Over 55 Club will have an evening of Irish Music & Dance in Kennedy Glasgow Centre on Thursday 12th March starting at 7pm.
