Bonniconlon Community Games:

The annual Community Games Sports Day takes place on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May at 2pm in the GAA pitch. Fun day for all the family!

Carra National School:

Carra NS is now taking enrolments for September 2015. Enrolment forms can be obtained from the school if you phone 096-45405 or email carrans@eircom.net. Forms to be returned to the school by 15th May

Clothing Collection:

Collection on Wednesday 6th May between 9am –12 midday at The Grove Hall. In aid of Fr. Nicholas Maanzo & his parish of St. Patricks Kitui, Kenya.

Welcome Home Week:

A meeting about the welcome home week, to be held in August, takes place on Tuesday 5th May at 9pm. All welcome, please come along.

Litter Action League: Marks for month of April: 96

Inspection took place on a dry day. From the Speed Limit on Ballina Road past the National School and Church to the Enniscrone Road junction was litter free.

From Tuffy’s Gala shop on main street out to the Tubbercurry road was litter free. Out the Attymass Road to speed limit 2 pieces of litter noted, the area around car park of GAA ground was litter free.

The Bottle Banks area on the Tubbercurry road was litter free and also out to speed limit was litter free. The Enniscrone Road out to the speed limit 2 pieces were noted. Well done.!

New Community Hall:

A meeting to discuss fundraising events for the New Community Hall, which has recently got the go ahead, takes place at 9pm on Wednesday night 6th May.

Members from all the different organisations in the parish are invited to attend plus anyone who would like to get involved

Little Athletics:

Ballina Athletic Club are starting a Little Athletics programme for 5-7 year olds on Monday 11th May from 5.30-6.30pm.

Car Boot Sale in the Kennedy Glasgow Centre on Sunday 17th May from 9am-3pm.

Coastline Radio will be live from Joe Dans this Sunday 3rd May at the Bernie Ruane Darts Tournament with the Maureen Henry Country Music Show from 7.30pm. Tune in..!!
