The Irish Cancer Society’s Care to Drive service is currently seeking volunteer drivers to drive local patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments in Mayo General Hospital.
We are looking for volunteers from all over Co.Mayo to pick patients up at their homes, drive them to the door of the hospital, pick them up again when they are finished their treatment and bring them home.
The service is free to the patient and all drivers expenses are paid.

A Commeration Plaque in honour of the people of the Parish who died during World War 1 (1914 -1918) will be erected in the new cemetery in due course.
More research needs to be done before going ahead with this project. Anyone who has any information, or would like to help with the research.
